(A fantasy come true for you ninja wanna-be's out there.) Anub’arak is the physical manifestation of ‘gank’, that’s his primary objective in the game. Gank gank gank! Come on, say it with me. SKILLS
Impale
Impale is your one and only disable. Use it wisely. Use it as an initiator for your ally to chain disables that are hard to use (LSA, Split Earth, Hoof Stomp). This skill will be useful throughout the game, and AoE stun with decent damge that can get you creep kills at the same time. You can also use this to farm by casting it on dying creeps.
It is now very possible to do this :
It's also important to know when to cast Impale, especially against enemies withchanneling spells; as it could save lives, including your own.
Mana Burn
This skill is unique to Anub’arak and is what makes him notorious. It’s range and damage increases per level and is dependent on how much mana your target has. With a 6 second cooldown, you prevent your take your enemy’s edge, giving you early game lane dominance.
Spiked Carapace
Your tanking skill. Well, your off-tanking skill. Great against melee heroes, but the armor bonus is what you really want.
Vendetta
Your bread and butter skill. Your opponents tremble when they don’t see you in the map. Perfect to start your combo barrage.
Starting Items
Pretend that I didn't try to get the kill using Mana Burn.

Tangoes and clarities are a must to maintain lane dominance. Grab a couple of circlets and fill the remaining slots up with branches.

OR
Lane Assignment
Top or Bottom lanes are preferred, but you can go mid as long as you don’t solo. Try to have a lane partner as much as possible, this could lead to an early kill by chaining disables on enemies who can’t fight back coz you took their mana.
Harassing
Level 2 Mana Burn against early game nukers/disablers such as Rylai will render their spells useless. If int heroes bow down to your green light for agony, what if you use them against str/agi heroes? You can easily cripple tanks with deadly disables, making them useless chunks of meat in early ganks/clashes.
Use Impale when a bunch of enemy creeps area about to die to get the gold and harass the enemy at the same time since your creeps will focus on the stunned enemy.
If laned with a disabler, chain your disables to get an early kill!
Vendetta
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.”
You are now level 6/7 and you’re itching to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin.
